Options High School serves high school-age people by providing alternatives for high school completion or by serving as a transitional step toward further learning experiences. Beyond this, we believe the mutual caring that has developed between staff and students has made Options an outstanding community of learners . As you peruse our web site, we hope you will discover what we are , but also who we are ; each individual's commitment to the common purpose of lifelong learning makes Options the special learning community it is.
Options High School is a school that provides each student a high school alternative within the Bellingham School District. While the school may not appear that much different on paper, it is very different in practice from traditional schools. It is the commonality of purpose and caring that makes us special. Options is unique. No one is unknown; everyone is a person and has a place to belong.New
Students Orientation
New students wishing to enroll in Options will need to complete the application packet and along with their parent/guardian must attend an informational meeting.
ALL NEW STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETE ORIENTATION
Students will be monitored on their attendance as well as their academic progress, with reviews every three weeks. Students who are successful in their classes with both their attendance and their academic progress will be invited to continue at Options. Students whose attendance and/or academic progress is not satisfactory will have a conference to determine if the student will be placed on probation, contract, or dropped from the program.If you have any additional questions or would care to schedule a visit please contact Options at (360)-647-6871.
