Program Goals
  • Remain in school through graduation
  • Demonstrate attainment of the Washington State Essential Academic Learning Requirements (EARLR’s) and Grade Level Expectations (GLE’s)
  • Appreciate the importance of prenatal care.
  • Learn practical parenting and human development skills.
  • Gain orientation to employment.
  • Set goals toward balancing work and family.

Program Elements
  • Family and Consumer Sciences Education Teacher with GRADS Certification.
  • Curriculum is developed from the National Standards for Family and Consumer Sciences Education.
